Halo Reach (2010) , the final Halo game from the series’ original developer, Bungie, is coming to PC in December, and could wind up with a VR support through an unofficial mod. Zack “Nibre” Fannon, the creator of the Alien: Isolation VR mod, is experimenting with VR support for Halo Reach.

In a compatibility test application from recent Windows 10 test builds, Microsoft has revealed some minimum specs for Windows Holographic, the Windows 10 interface and platform for VR and AR devices which will include inexpensive headsets from big manufacturers. With a VR headset and controllers like Oculus Touch, your hands aren’t abstracted on a TV in front of you, they’re in your vision, placed exactly where you expect them to be. At the time the prototype used a VR headset combined with a Microsoft Kinect for tracking.
