Tilt Brush co-creator Patrick Hackett announced today that he’s leaving Google after nearly six years with the company. Last week at Google’s I/O 2017 developer conference the company made a number of new announcements which are very exciting for VR consumers. The 69th Emmy Awards nominations are out, and while it’s true the Emmys were created to recognize excellence in the television industry, virtual reality as a medium has been lauded with six total nominations this year, three of which are thanks to content created by Oculus. and Oculus ( download here for Oculus Rift ).
