I thought it would have taken me a lot before I would be able to try the Magic Leap One , but luckily this has not been the case. But while we were great on the technical side, we weren’t good at doing business and marketing (I only started my blog in summer 2016 ), so in 2017 we closed the curtain on our crazy adventure.

At least from the outside, it appears Microsoft isn’t actively competing for a seat at the XR table, which is fairly odd coming from a company that pioneered enterprise AR while simultaneously wrangling some of its top OEM partners to make a fleet of PC VR headsets for consumers in 2017.

I’ve been a big fan of the cute little Samsung Gear 360 camera since its first unveiling in the spring of 2016, and always recommend it to people inquiring about the best consumer-friendly 360 cameras out there.
