At Sony’s E3 2017 presentation the company announced a slew of brand new titles heading to PSVR. Though Skyrim is coming to PSVR, Sony’s E3 presentation also featured a section dedicated to brand new PSVR games not seen anywhere else yet. At first glance it seems reminiscent of the recently released Wilson’s Heart on Oculus.
Today the company announced that developers can submit OpenXR applications to be published on the Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift stores. Sony’s PlayStation 4 is entering its ‘final phase’, according to a recent tweet by Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki, citing a talk with PlayStation Chief Tsuyoshi Kodera. Kodera says PSVR sales are growing, although it’s admittedly under Sony’s expectations.

The nominations for this year’s BAFTA Game Awards have been announced , and Sony’s PlayStation VR (PSVR) is once again leading the charge for virtual reality. Brilliantly, Sony Japan’s excellent party game, Playroom VR , is also nominated in the Family category.
The 17 year old game studio is most recently known for its acclaimed VR titles, Lone Echo and Echo VR , both published by Facebook’s Oculus Studios. The company’s first Oculus-exclusive VR title, Lone Echo (2017) , is one of the best rated games in the company’s PC VR library.
