Most people know Xu due to his dispute with American virtual reality company MagicLeap. If we exclude the major tech companies (Facebook, Valve, etc…) and the meteor MagicLeap, this is the first VR company to reach this status, and this is another sign of the health of the virtual reality ecosystem. Many of the investors were already involved in the $20M series C that the company obtained in December 2020.

I’d say that through at least 2022, the enterprise will account for the majority of augmented and mixed reality headsets like Hololens and MagicLeap. They’re much more distributable than the standard Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, which has to be hooked up to a PC.
