Ndreams announced Synapse 2, but only for Google Cardboard, and Voodoo DE showed a preview of a very futuristic device. Hypernova should also get a camera upgrade, getting something similar to the iPhone 13 from 2021.

Its userbase is superior to known PCVR headsets like the HTC Vive Pro and Pro 2 and most probably in the next weeks, it will also surpass the Pico 4. This is a pretty surprising result, considering that the PSVR 2 is a device for a console (the PS5) and its adapter for PC was released only a few weeks ago.

Anyway, with the end of the life of Quest 2, this cycle finished and a new one started with Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro, Google and Samsung announcing their own headset, and other companies chasing them (e.g. Especially Apple and Google, which are the dominant players in the smartphone industry, are both launching headsets this year.
