These glasses should be built in partnership with Google and Qualcomm and have a similar form factor to the successful Ray-Ban Meta glasses.

Multiple reports seem to confirm that Oculus is actually starting the production of a new Oculus Quest headset, with an expected release date in 2021. Google’s investment for a 7.7% of units more produced annually.

In any case, when 2030 arrives and the numbers will be wrong (like all the ones predicted by the analysts, which make the predictions throwing dice), people will have anyway forgot that article you wrote 8 years ago.
