Or better, I can imagine who can be the names and they are all the big monoliths: Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon , etc… Only companies of this size could afford selling a good headset under cost and at the same time attract enough developers to publish VR games on their own new stores.
For sure the announcement at FC and the release date in 2021 have been studied to put some pressure on Apple , which seems to be the only rival to Facebook for what concerns the AR future. Who decides what is legit and what not? And what about the ongoing training? Will something like that be done by Facebook as well?
