But I don’t see why I should be immersed night and day in a virtualenvironment … I don’t think it has sense, especially for the biggest part of the population. And not all experiences are better in VR: supermarkets in VR are not a thing because buying in 2D on Amazon is much more efficient.
I always refused to have an Alexa in my house because I know that what I say may randomly be sent to some Amazon offices in India where a person listens to my worlds and checks if the AI has detected well what I’ve said, with a clear violation of my privacy. Who decides what is legit and what not? And what about the ongoing training?
