I feel like some products, such as Google Cardboard, and some of the lower-end pieces of hardware, have actually done more harm than good to the reputation of virtual reality. It ruins not only the reputation of the company, but of the reputation of what virtual reality is doing today. It's kind of the bare minimum to get going.
