This operation is similar to the “stitching” done with multiple flat videos that have to be merged into a 360video. Immersal claims to be a fairly open system, a toolbox that the customers can use as they want, even mixing their own tools with the one of Immersal.
Releasing a simple 360video as a marketing ploy is old news these days, so it’s refreshing when companies embrace VR to enhance their experiential brand activations in unique ways. After quietly settling a gender discrimination lawsuit recently, it turns out that MagicLeap is back on the fundraising trail.
Until recently, Brian Kane has been highlighting more experiential demos - like one that puts a porthole to the ocean in your living room - to highlight the power of the MagicLeap, and of spatial computing in general. MagicLeap is one of these MagicLeap devices, you put it on, and your whole world is spatial computing.
