Samsung confirms 5+ million Gear VR headsets are now in use worldwide, announced at their CES 2017 keynote. In his opening speech at CES 2017 this week, Samsung Electronics America president Tim Baxter announced that the company now has “more than 5 million” Gear VR virtual reality headsets in use.

Sadly it isn’t 3D, though when viewed in high quality, the sharp edges of the CGI environments give a better sense of depth than most other non-3D 360 videos. With it’s thoughtful direction, this is one 360 video worth watching (though your taste in music is likely to be the overriding factor here).
