Since I have worked on some VR concerts myself (and one even got featured on the Unity blog), I thought my opinion could be valuable for someone… at least for the Stageverse developers that so have some feedback about what to improve. but I thought it could be interesting to write some short first impressions about it.
While Guided Meditation VR is rendered in real-time on tethered headsets which are backed by a PC with plenty of processing power, the mobile Oculus Go version of the app , relies on 360video captures of the virtualenvironments instead. But then along came a new method for playing back 360video content on Oculus Go.
Right now, the VR industry hosts a variety of mobile and console options—but the former is fixed-position (meaning that, no matter where you move your body, your viewpoint stays the same) and the latter includes a tether, a prospect that renders “losing yourself” to a virtualenvironment a bit risky (don’t trip!).
One of them was the Immersive Visualisation Room, which had a 5 x 5-metre space where users display 360videos, Insta360 live streams, Unity-based architectural models, Matterport-based photogrammetry models, and immersive presentations built on Slides. In 2023, Igloo Vision showcased its various immersive spaces.
Leveraging its Igloo Core Engine (ICE), the company has curated a host of content in its viewing spaces, including building information modelling (BIM), metaverse worlds, 360-degree video, game engine demos, and many others. The award-winning operating system is also layer-based, providing clients with fully bespoke configurations.
Maybe the highlight of today is that the company is releasing VRWorks Audio and 360Video software development kits. So lets recap all that came to our knowledge today: VRWorks is a comprehensive suite of APIs, libraries, and engines that enable application and headset developers to create amazing virtual reality experiences.

But they claim having also seen a Unity experience running from it (maybe it will be possible to develop for Horizon with Unity, as it is possible with VRChat), so developers may still be able to create more complex stuff. I’m a developer, where is Unity, where is Visual Studio? They’re working with Ctrl+Labs about using electromyography (EMG) to let you interact with your hands in your virtualenvironment without having cameras tracking your fingers , but just an EMG bracelet that is very accurate (he says up to 1mm for fingers positions).
