Unity and Unreal are both incredible game engines and both require specialized training and/or teams to develop for. It feels abandoned in the overall Amazon ecosystem and the rendering technology is older and inefficient. This is scheduled for a Q4 release. I got the opportunity to catch up again with Ivon, this time over email, about his perspective on VR, his love of science fiction, and the future of the IP that he and his team are painstakingly constructing from scratch. It is a big showcase demo for its Unreal Engine 5, and I have to say it is pretty impressive. We are all talking about the m**averse, and for sure the ability to build entire alive cities that can be visited in multiplayer will be an important brick in the whole m**averse construction. So no VR and even no PC, and this is a pity.
