Of course, I was disappointed I made the comparison with the iPad/Mac because I think that if this headset proves to be good, over the next years, it could start replacing these devices, at least for at-home usage. Becoming a licensee gave me access to the SteamVR Tracking HDK and Steam SDK, which also contained the original 2016 SteamVR training course documentation which was run for a couple of years in conjunction with Valve partner Synapse in Seattle. This training course cost about $3,000 and was mandatory for anyone wanting to use SteamVR.
