Following the movements of the eyes, they were able to reliably detect the passwords the user was typing in the headset.

This year we’ll see the launch of nReal, the first truly consumer-oriented AR glass, and it will be very interesting to see what happens.

The LEDs for eye tracking are installed directly on the lenses as if they were hair cluttering it and they are not noticeable by the eye. The resolution is pretty low, 13 pixels per degree, but it seems that Meta has another prototype with 26PPD. T he glasses feature a custom Wi-Fi 6 protocol to communicate with the puck.

Another brand I’m very curious about is Samsung : sooner or later, it should announce something, either in VR or in AR. Samsung has always released interesting products (think about the GearVR or the Odyssey), and it would be cool for it to release a standalone headset with mixed reality features. Eye tracking.
