The collaboration between Microsoft and Samsung is now over. Some months ago, some important magazines leaked that Microsoft might have abandoned the HoloLens project. According to a new leak, Microsoft scrapped the plans for a HoloLens 3, and also the collaboration with Samsung has been brought to an end. Other relevant news.

For me this is not a fortunate sentence: this is what Alex Kipman said about the HoloLens, a few weeks before the whole Microsoft Mixed Reality division was disbanded and he was fired from the company. 1 billion of this money is planned in Germany, with €500 million for a new Technology Campus in Erlangen.
