Apple is entering the XR field, and Facebook is currently dominating the VR market. Apple headset may be very lightweight. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming Apple visor should weigh around 3–400g, which is much lighter than current headsets on the market, including the Quest 2.
However, there will most likely be a changing wave of opinion after Apple announces its presumably killer consumer XR device. Apple appears to be very close to announcing an immersive product, with the leading computing firm prompting AR/VR/MR outlets to cover the event.
