Magic Leap finally dropped to mixed reviews and BrainXchange published its Definitive Guide to Adopting Wearables, AR and VR in Enterprise. Going into 2019, the industry eagerly awaits HoloLens 2 and Glass Enterprise Edition 2, as rumors swirl around the possibility of AR glasses from Apple and/or Facebook in the near future.

Magic Leap acquires FuzzyCube Software 1) TheWaveVR has released the beta version of its social VR music platform on the Steam Early Access on the PC. 4) Magic Leap purchased FuzzyCube Software, Business Insider has learned, and looked into buying an Oscar and Emmy winning animation company called Moonbot Studios in the fall.

The release of Magic Leap One was supposed to be the “magic moment” for consumer AR, the development that finally got consumers excited about augmented reality glasses. After all, the Apple Watch has made watch-wearers out of people who never used to wear a watch. Needless to say, it wasn’t. Source: Vuzix.

Bloomberg publishes new hints on Apple glasses. Every week we have new hints on Apple glasses: it is no more a matter of “if” they will come to the market, but a matter of “when” and “what”. They will also have a dedicated store of AR apps , like it already happens for other Apple gadgets, like the Apple Watch and Apple TV.

And it’s funny, because you look at something like Magic Leap, they raised $3.5-billion, I am quite sure that the folks that Magic Leap are going to recognize how much value there is in the enterprise space, and figure out that they’ve got to have certain characteristics. And that’s a great example.
