Valve was collaborating with eye-tracking company SMI to add eye tracking to OpenVR (thanks u/PrAyTeLLa for noticing it), and this is a clear sign that it is interested in this technology, but I’ve also to warn you that some months later this announcement, SMI has been acquired by Apple.
