Apple is ramping up development of the operating system for its headset, with a plan to launch in 2023, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports. HTC reduces the Vive Pro price by $200. Most probably this announcement has been made to envision a future competition with Apple, bringing to XR the battle Android vs iOS (and Samsung vs Apple) that we already have on phones. At Tilt Five, we designed a really clever system that only works on tabletop experiences but it has features that are just leaps and bounds above what the big MagicLeap or HoloLens type AR systems are. That’s where I got started with augmented reality.
