I know that many of you won’t be excited by this news, but remember the Vive Tracker is one of the most successful accessories ever created by HTC. Come and visit it!

HTC reduces the Vive Pro price by $200. The Vive Pro, the enterprise headset offered by HTC, has just seen a big discount : the headset only now costs $600, and the full bundle with the SteamVR 2.0 The Valve Index is a headset for consumers, while HTC offers a lot of services dedicated to enterprise customers.

A media report has come out swinging against Apple’s Vision Pro headset, stating it has failed to innovate the mixed reality (MR) market. The author wrote, “But as with generative AI, Apple is not exactly the first to the game. And don’t just burden them with this massive price.”

If you look at someone like Apple, they aren’t about to put their logo on something like the current developer-focused headsets out there. They’re much more distributable than the standard Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, which has to be hooked up to a PC. The thing to note about Apple is that aesthetics are important to them.
