They are just meant to see phone notifications and make photos and videos; this is not something for which people would spend $1000 on top of their phone. Unless there is an Apple drawn on it, of course. This is a huge price, especially for glasses that do not have a fundamental use case.

Top news of the week (Image by Apple) Half of Fortune 100 companies are using Apple Vision Pro Apple CEO Tim Cook has answered the doom posts of the past week that revealed that Vision Pro’s sales plummeted after its launch by stating that more than half of Fortune 100 companies have bought an Apple XR headset and are experimenting with it.

Of course, Epic is completely against Apple and its vision of its own walled garden. The new mixed reality headset is expected to perform a bit like the Apple Watch: very slow sales in the beginning, to then increase them a lot at every iteration. In his vision, web3 and XR are nice to have but are not fundamental.

The controllers have been made in partnership with Razer Integrated Audio Varjo finally tuned in in 2023 and understood that this year shipping a new headset without integrated audio is a huge WTF. So Varjo decided to flex in its presentation to show why the XR-4 may be more interesting for companies than the Apple Vision Pro.
