The same analysis by Counterpoint mentioned above stated that the Apple Vision Pro had more shipments than IDC initially estimated , especially if we consider the International ones. If shipments were comparable to sales, we would have a number of sold Vision Pro similar to the initial estimates by Apple.

Since there is the possibility that Apple announces its headset soon, all the companies are rushing to announce what they have in the pipeline before the big day. Most likely that will be the name of its operating system The headset should be launched at WWDC according to all the most relevant Apple analysts. It’s been a strange week.

A Bloomberg article published recently says that the Apple AR glasses are facing technical challenges, so their release has been delayed indefinitely and the project scope pared back. The report also revealed that Apple may instead opt to release a more affordable mixed reality headset.
