This past July Microsoft confirmed that Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 , the latest iteration of the companies legendary flight sim experience, would be receiving official VR support shortly after launch. The event should have been hosted in Atlanta, with a little VR spinoff, but now that real event has been canceled, the whole event will be in VR. Oculus rejects Crisis VRigade again, causing backlash from the community. It was rejected by Oculus, but it found great success on Quest’s unofficial store.

With a VR headset and controllers like Oculus Touch, your hands aren’t abstracted on a TV in front of you, they’re in your vision, placed exactly where you expect them to be. At the time the prototype used a VR headset combined with a Microsoft Kinect for tracking. VR motion control changes all that.
