If the report were true, this would mean that Apple doesn’t believe in AR anymore and this would be terrible news for all the immersive realities ecosystem. Apple is clearly committed in augmented reality, and the recent release of ARKit 3 proves that. Companies are studying foveated rendering for AR glasses. Very interesting.
