I’ve seen what companies are doing nowadays to use tracked props on the Oculus Quest: they have to add bulky mounts to install the even bulkier Touch controllers on them. Oculus Quest 2 ) to know the pose of the fingers. I think that this tracker can be very useful. Futher references. AR windshields.
