The power of Extended Reality technology for education isn’t just evident in the traditional school and university landscape. The company turned to The Leadership Network and Oculus (from Meta) to implement a new Virtual Reality solution. What is interesting the most are not the features, that more or less are the same as most other headsets: integrated headphones, halo+headband, IPD adjustment, etc… It seems a mix of a Samsung Odyssey and an Oculus Rift S. That’s exactly why Children’s Hospital Los Angeles teamed up with Oculus and other VR companies to bring low-cost emergency care training via virtual reality technology. By using an Oculus Rift headset along with Touch controllers, students can now receive the same training faster, cheaper and easier.
