For the 25th anniversary of Lollapalooza, Samsung went all out bringing their latest in immersive VR experiences to the Chicago music festival. Introducing thousands of music fans to VR, many for the first time, Samsung built out an entire interactive VR experience center on the festival grounds.
Samsung today announced a partnership with Live Nation to live stream the band’s upcoming show at Chicago’s Soldier Field venue inside VR. Gear VR owners in more than 50 countries will be able to head into the Samsung VR app, and tune in at 8:30 pm CT on August 17th. Then you might want to pick up a Gear VR soon.
