To create a realistic sensation of haptics, the whole system (hardware + software) must be good in emulating the exact sensation of the object you are holding virtually. As you can see, the hardware setup is not plug and play. My hand with the SenseGlove installed.

On the software side, for the VR tracking management the software used was Steam VR , and for the management of the gloves, there was a special service running on the PC that managed the hand tracking that had to be set up as well. Rubber thimbles guarantee a better fit for the glove on the fingers. It was funny, but also weird.
