China-based PC VR headset creator Pimax has issued a statement addressing the impact of the recent USChina trade war on its operations, particularly concerning its Crystal Super VR headset. At the time of this writing, the US has levied a 145% tariff on all goods manufactured in China.
According to Reuters , China plans on shipping over 25 million VR headsets by 2026 as part of a five-year plan to strengthen the country’s digital economy.
