The film is based on Ernest Cline’s 2011 bestselling of the same title novel, which features characters escaping harsh reality by plugging on virtual reality headsets and entering into an immersive virtual universe, OASIS. The content and stories inside the OASIS are all created by each and every individual’s imagination in the film.
