In my opinion , the true error is with the Vive 1 , that will get a price that is higher than the one of all the competitors… and that will cost as much as a Samsung Odyssey, notwithstanding its far lower features. Let’s see: Google is still working with Qualcomm and Samsung on a mixed-reality headset. At first, we had good news: Unity finally revealed its first two AI tools: Muse, which lets you create assets (textures, animations, code) directly in the editor using textual queries. Muse looks a lot like ChatGPT integrated inside Unity.
We are at the same level of Vive Focus or Vive Pro… probably the display is the same made by Samsung. This is the same chip of the Samsung S8 and it is not the latest available for VR: Qualcomm has already released the 845 VR reference design. For instance, in Unity, the Oculus Utilities plugin is the same for PC, Go and GearVR.
And VR Days was one of the best conferences that bridged the gap between technology and arts, and also brought together everyone from military to education to healthcare, and also the creatives to drive that innovation.
