More than 70 virtual and argumented reality companies will showcase their products, innovations and demos at CES 2017, starting this Thursday in Las Vegas. Dacuda and ZEISS will be showcasing the world’s first mobile room-scale virtual reality system that uses standard mobile phones on the ZEISS VR One headset.
Starting July 12, UK customers can now demo and purchase a Vision Pro device for 2,785 GBP. Moreover, the package includes ZEISS Optical Prescription inserts that improve clarity for those with vision hurdles. Apple is refining the distribution process to improve the supply chain from manufacturing to customer-facing in-store demoing.

In stores, you’ll find headsets ranging from around $30 for a View-Master to $130 for a Zeiss VR One Plus. The Gear VR was the first high quality mobile virtual reality viewer, with Daydream following the lead of Samsung and Oculus. We’d recommend getting a controller, though you can find many cheaper than the Steel Series.
