The Quest v68 update brings latency and visual upgrades to Quest 3, a range of further improvements to Quest 2 and Pro too, and a new app called Layout. As with all Quest updates, v68 will "roll out" gradually, so it may take a few days or even weeks for your headset to get the v68 update. Here's everything Quest v68 includes: Reduced OpenXR Latency (Quest 3) Version 68 delivers "a new frame timing algorithm for OpenXR" on Quest 3 that Meta claims "will improve overall frame rate and prediction

As reported by Windows Latest , Microsoft recently filed a patent request showing a potential first look at a pair of augmented reality smart glasses. In two USPTO filings—”Composite Poes Estimate For Wearable Computing Device” and “Resolution Enhancement in Spatital-Frequency Space “—Microsoft seemingly is building AR smart glasses with Co-Pilot genAI integration.

PlayStation VR2 is now on sale for $350 in the US too, its lowest price ever. This is a $200 discount from its regular price of $550, and by far the lowest price we've ever seen the headset sold at in any market. The discount is available at PlayStation direct as well as Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and GameStop. It comes just days after the same thing happened in the UK.

Clawball is a 3v3 feline soccer game inspired by Gorilla Tag, and we went hands-on with the alpha build. Here are our impressions. Following ARVORE's work on Pixel Ripped and YUKI , I was pleasantly surprised to see the Brazil-based studio announce Clawball. It's an inventive take on multiplayer soccer that uses arm-swinging locomotion, and what's here feels like a mash-up between Gorilla Tag and Rocket League.
