The number of people with a 3D camera in their pocket will soon reach hundreds of millions, as all iPhone 16 models can capture spatial photos and spatial videos. Spatial video is Apple's term for stereoscopic 3D video using the Apple HEVC Stereo Video Profile format. Currently spatial videos can only be captured by iPhone 15 Pro models and Apple Vision Pro itself, but all iPhone 16 models will be able to capture them.

You can now share your first person view during video calls in Messenger on Quest headsets. View sharing during calls is becoming a standard feature of mixed reality headsets and smart glasses. Apple Vision Pro owners can share their view during FaceTime calls, and Ray-Ban Meta glasses owners can share their view in WhatsApp and Messenger calls. Now Messenger on Horizon OS can do this too, though the feature doesn't appear to be available in WhatsApp.

The developer of Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded released a "major" patch alongside a statement admitting the game "has not met our own high expectations". Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded is a Quest 3 exclusive, though a previous Hitman 3 VR was released for the original PlayStation VR in 2021 , and the PC version of Hitman 3 got VR support two years ago in a patch. The PlayStation VR and PC VR versions of Hitman 3 were criticized for feeling flatscreen derivative and not taking advantage of VR.
