As reported by Smart Energy International , E.ON recently partnered with FocusXR, a Liverpool-based XR training solutions provider, to help upskill English West Midlands engineers at its Kingswinford, Birmingham net zero training academy. The move sees the Birmingham Net Zero training academy leverage a UK technology firm, driving regional innovation in Liverpool and nationally.

Five Nights At Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 is making Pico its next destination. Launched on PlayStation VR2 and Steam last year, Steel Wool Studios is also bringing Five Nights At Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 to Pico, where you must complete six different minigame types and VR versions of Sister Location's games. Following May's Quest launch , a recent store listing states it's compatible with Pico 4 , Pico 4 Pro , and Pico Neo 3 Link.

The CXL consortium has had a regular presence at FMS (which rechristened itself from 'Flash Memory Summit' to the 'Future of Memory and Storage' this year). Back at FMS 2022, the company had announced v3.0 of the CXL specifications. This was followed by CXL 3.1's introduction at Supercomputing 2023. Having started off as a host to device interconnect standard, it had slowly subsumed other competing standards such as OpenCAPI and Gen-Z.

While Apple is full steam ahead on iOS 18, which is expected to drop sometime next month, it hasn't forgotten about iOS 17, which still dominates most users' iPhones. On Aug. 19, Apple issued a rerelease of its iOS 17.6.1 software for iPhone. Apple initially released iOS 17.6.1 just nine days after iOS 17.6 came out. Following a turbulent few weeks in the stock market, there’s a lot of speculation that the AI “bubble” may be about to burst. Many companies that are involved in AI have seen the value of their stock rocket dramatically over the past year or so.
