Silhouette arrives on Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets later this month. Silhouette is a VR adventure puzzler for Meta Quest headsets that allows you to manipulate shadows with your bare hands. Developed by Team Panoptes, the same company behind Panoptic , this single-player experience tasks you with guiding tiny shadow creatures, referred to as “Shadowies,” through a series of environmental puzzles.

Psytec Games announced its grappling hook-flavored platforming adventure Windlands 2 (2018) is finally swinging its way onto Quest 2, coming to Meta’s standalone for the first time on February 2nd. Like the original Windlands (2016) , which is currently available through App Lab on Quest , Windlands 2 is all about swinging from tree to tree in a large, open world filled with a ton of nooks and crannies to parkour around.

Pavlov VR and NFL Pro Era are just a few of the games coming to Sony’s console VR headset. Sony PlayStation VR2 is scheduled to launch on February 22nd alongside a number of exciting titles. In addition to the 11 titles Sony announced back in November, the company recently announced an additional 13 games. This includes popular titles such as Resident Evil Village and Horizon Call of the Mountain.

Moth+Flame, a New York City-based provider of virtual reality (VR) immersive learning, launched an artificial intelligence (AI) generative content authoring tool for VR content this week. Invesco trialled the solution in a first-ever enterprise demo of the product at its Sales Symposium last week to develop use cases for the VR application. The efforts aim to boost skills for salespeople by overcoming objections with virtually simulated conversations.

AltspaceVR is shutting down in March as Microsoft decimated its teams working in VR & AR this week as part of a major workforce reduction across the entire company. Altspace was one of the early VR-based social networking services alongside others like Rec Room and VRChat. As an independent startup Altspace ran out of money, but in 2017 Microsoft acquired it and continued the effort.

Vankrupt Games confirmed Pavlov is coming to PSVR 2 next month as a launch game. Joining an increasing list of PSVR 2 games , Pavlov was first announced for PSVR 2 nearly two years ago , and we’d not heard anything since. Nearly five years since its PC VR launch, Windlands 2 makes its way to Meta Quest 2 next month. First released in 2018, Windlands 2 is an action-adventure game from Psytec Games, which combines the original’s platforming and swinging locomotion with bow and arrow combat. After its long-delayed PSVR launch arrived in 2021, Windlands 2 now joins the first Windlands on Quest.
