Meta has leaked an image of the supposed Quest 3S via an update to its PC software, showing off what is likely the upcoming cheaper alternative to Quest 3. As first spotted by Reddit user ‘ Gary_the_mememachine ‘, the image of can be found in the files of Meta Quest Link client for PC. At the time of this writing, Meta hasn’t removed the image from its latest software update.

Meta's CTO says the company won't make motion trackers for Quest unless Pico Motion Trackers do so well they prove him wrong. During his ask me anything (AMA) session on Instagram this week, Andrew Bosworth was asked whether Meta was working on something similar to the Pico Motion Trackers that ByteDance is shipping alongside Pico 4 Ultra. Pico Motion Trackers Work In VRChat And Blade & Sorcery VRChat and Blade & Sorcery: Nomad will support leg tracking with Pico Motion Trackers.

PlayStation 5 Pro was announced today by Sony as a higher-end version of PS5, launching on November 7 priced at $700. Preorders will open on September 26. PS5 Pro has a 2TB SSD and features a 45% more powerful GPU with 2-3x faster ray tracing and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), a neural upscaling technology similar to NVIDIA's DLSS.

A major display supplier reportedly sent Apple samples of regular OLED panels meant for use in future Vision headsets. The Sony-supplied micro-OLED displays in Apple Vision Pro are 1.42 inch with a pixel density around 3386 PPI, providing a resolution of 3660×3200 (3.7K). But it has been widely reported that they are difficult and expensive to manufacture, and the primary contributor to Vision Pro's eye-watering price.

The big 'Day 4' patch for Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded has made some improvements over the launch day version, but it's undoubtedly still rough.
