Alien: Rogue Incursion just got its first gameplay trailer, showing off its first real look at the game’s Xenomorph enemies, weapons, setting and more. When it was revealed back in April, Veteran VR studio Survios said the upcoming action-horror game was set to include an “all-new storyline full of heart-pounding action, exploration, and terrifying Xenomorphs.

PlayStation VR2 sales reportedly skyrocketed on the first day of the current deep discount. If you missed the news, PSVR 2 is currently on sale for $350 , a significant discount from its regular price of $550. The Shortcut reports a source showed it retailer data revealing a 2350% increase in PSVR 2 headset sales on the first day of the sale compared to the day before, and that this represented more units in one day than had been previously sold all year so far.

Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is here, officially bringing the hit anime to VR for the first time, albeit in early access. We got an eye-full last month when developer UNIVRS released its first trailer, which admittedly looked pretty rough. While that’s still true for the game in its current state, it actually packs in some fun mechanics, leaving me holding out hope for the AoT VR game that it might become.

Meta's XR Audio SDK now has Acoustic Ray Tracing in its most significant update yet. The feature realistically simulates how sound propagates through the geometry of the virtual world to your ear. This simulation includes reflections, reverb, occlusion, obstruction, and diffraction. Meta isn't the first company to offer an audio SDK with ray tracing.

Virtuix Omni One, a long-in-development integrated home VR treadmill, will finally start shipping in September, the company claims. Omni One was announced almost four years ago as launching in late 2021, but that didn't happen. Unlike earlier VR treadmill offerings, Omni One is unique in that it is fully integrated, meaning it comes with a VR headset running a store of content with support for the treadmill intentionally integrated by developers.

While DIG VR focuses on excavation, this upcoming sim has an enjoyably silly arcade side worth exploring on Quest. We went hands-on once again. Announced in April, DIG VR from Just Add Water and Wired Productions feels like the power-digging equivalent of PowerWash Simulator VR. It involves excavating different locations across Diglington, starting with a mini-digger and various attachments before unlocking more.

UNDERDOGS, the urban sci-fi VR mech brawler, reaches Pico this September. The second VR game from One Hamsa ( Racket: Nx ), UNDERDOGS takes place in the 22nd-century underground fighting pits of New Brakka. This physics-based brawler uses arm-based locomotion and a comic book-style presentation, finding two brothers making their way into the city across a roguelike campaign.
