Google Poly Is Shutting Down

Google has instructed users to download their personal libraries before June 30, 2021. VR content creators woke up today with a shocking email from Google stating that the company would be shutting down their 3D model sharing platform Google Poly. For VR creators like Rosie Summers , Poly has been instrumental in her amazing Tilt Brush work. The email says that Google will be shutting down Poly on June 30th, 2021 and will be ending the ability to upload 3D models to the platform beginning April

Pimax Launches “5K” Super VR Headset Featuring 180Hz Refresh Rate

Pimax, the company known for its wide field of view (FOV) VR headsets, have now launched the Pimax “5K” SUPER, a PC VR headset first shown in its prototype stage at CES 2020 earlier this year. The new Pimax “5K” Super is being billed as a hardware refresh of the Pimax “5K” Plus , which launched in 2018 with 2,560 × 1,440 pixels per-eye LCD display capable of up to 144Hz refresh rate, and a 200-degree FOV.
