I have been able to try the Cybershoes, the special shoes that let you walk in VR while you are seated! There is now an ongoing Kickstarter campaign that proposes a special version of them that works with the Oculus Quest (1 and 2) and I’m sure many of you are wondering if they are good or not. Well, I am here to answer exactly this question , so fasten your seatbelt and prepare yourself for one of my usual detailed reviews!

As soon as we have 5G coverage, we’ll have ubiquitous AR glasses, right? Some people would have you believe that. It’s easy to want to believe that. However, there’s more that needs to happen before light-weight, compact, and efficient glasses can become a reality. Perceive doesn’t make AR glasses. They don’t make depth sensors, or controllers, or lenses either.

Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) VR support was scheduled to arrive sometime this month, but the wait is nearly over. ASOBO announced that PC VR headset support is coming to the game next week. ASOBO UX designer François Dacquin announced in a video (linked below) that the long-awaited VR update for Microsoft Flight Simulator is scheduled to arrive on December 22nd, 2020 as a free update.

Hippos and cows and giraffes, oh my! Google has expanded its lineup of 3D animals available via Google Search with 50 new creatures. In a video released on Twitter, the company showcases just a handful of the augmented reality animals now accessible via the Google app and compatible Chrome browsers. This includes a giraffe, hippo, milk cow, cat, zebra pig, and a Chow Chow.

Today the company behind the project announced it has raised a $20 million Series C investment to support its growing population. A handful of unverified photos have revealed what appears to be a never before seen pair of AR glasses from Lenovo. Images published by known leaker ‘WalkingCat’ have revealed the new AR headset , sporting the Lenovo’s ThinkReality badge, its enterprise-focused AR/VR product line. We haven’t verified the authenticity of the photos, so it’s a mystery for now whether they’re mock-ups, internal prototypes, or production-ready AR glasses.
