Apple’s latest iPhone event may still be a week away, but you can play with this new AR effect right now. Apple today confirmed the official date for its upcoming September event. Earlier this morning, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing Greg Joswiak posted a tweet revealing a September 14th date for its official live stream, during which the company is expected to announce its next iPhone device.

This week came with two great pieces of news for me. The first one is that the bond between me and VRrOOm has become a bit more official , and we’ll keep innovating the virtual events sector together for a while. The second one is that we of New Technology Walkers have just launched our fitness game HitMotion: Reloaded for Vive Focus 3. I’m super-happy with the projects I’m following and the talented people I’m collaborating with, and I’m sure I’ll do great things with them in the future!

I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy and the Liar (2021) launched in late August across all major VR headsets, bringing fans of the original game a fresh taste of spy-flavored puzzles and adventure. Now developers Schell Games say it’s done so well that the sequel has broken past the $1 million revenue milestone only a few days after launch. I Expect You to Die 2 launched simultaneously on all major VR platforms on August 24th, including Oculus Quest, Oculus PC, SteamVR, and PSVR.

The sequel to Schell Games’ popular VR puzzle game hit a major milestone just one week after going on sale. In 2016 Schell Games launched their game I Expect You To Die on Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and SteamVR headsets. In this James Bond-esque adventure, players took on the role of a professional spy tasked with solving a variety of cinematic puzzles within a set period of time.

After a month long sales pause due to a facepad recall, the headset sees its first ever month without growth in share on the platform, but it’s likely to pick up the pace again soon.

Let us pretend we are desktop people, thinking about building a new system. What would we look for? If we are after a gaming system, clearly we need a big GPU. A very beefy CPU is a nice touch as well if we want to keep the GPU fed. Plenty of memory, lots of storage, and maybe lots of ports for expansion. Add in a nice RGB keyboard, perhaps a high refresh display, and lots of cooling.
