When it comes to exercise and fitness , there’s not a “one size fits all” experience. It’s important for individuals to assess their own needs, limitations, goals, medical issues, and interests. Some people enjoy a more solitary pursuit of fitness while others prefer classes or games or specific challenges such as mountain climbing. Whatever you prefer, you’ll find an abundance of options in virtual reality and below are some of the top VR fitness experiences.

To avoid awkward and sometimes disastrous learning content, instructional designers must use authentic translation in the right context to get optimal results. For example, even a simple phrase like “got milk” translates to “are you lactating” in Mexico. Can you imagine what a straight translation might do to your course? With over 317 million people in the US and over 6.7 billion potential customers in the world, personalizing training seems logical.
This one is the last AR/VR news roundup for this summer! Here in Turin, the sun is shining, but the temperature is getting colder, and autumn is coming too fast. I think I’ll miss the joys of summer (and all the trophies that Italy has won), but at least I’ll be able to enjoy again some delicious hot chocolate Before leaving you to the news of the week, I’m happy to announce to you that I’ve been selected as a speaker for AWE US 2021 !

Sponsored content. Sponsored by Reason. These days, most folks have experienced virtual reality in some shape or form: it could be a Google cardboard, VR kiosk at a local mall, or an at-home VR headset from HTC or Oculus. VR headsets create interactive environments that anyone can have access to. Yet, its rapid commoditization has failed to generate mainstream adoption over the last few years.
After Venice VR Expanded has come to an end, I have finally had the time to experiment with Oculus Quest AR Passthrough. I’ll make a tutorial for you about it next week (I know, you can’t wait to make a cube in passthrough AR), and today I want to tell you my opinion about it. Mild interest of the community. Having worked on passthrough AR two years ago on the Vive Focus Plus , where I created not only some interesting experimental apps but also the opensource plugin to enable AR on

So far the company has proven that it will remain largely hands-off on app content—and apparently price too—making App Lab useful for much more than just gaming apps. While the main Quest store—the one users can see inside the headset—is gate kept wholly by Oculus, the company introduced App Lab as an alternate means of distributing apps on

Many people on social media advised me to try The Muse concert inside the new virtual events platform Stageverse … and so I did. I have no time today to write a full review for you (stay tuned on the HitMotion: Reloaded blog to discover why!), but I thought it could be interesting to write some short first impressions about it. Since I have worked on some VR concerts myself (and one even got featured on the Unity blog), I thought my opinion could be valuable for someone… at least for

Since when has learning and development (L&D) become such a negative experience with its intended learners? Could it be because learners have been conditioned by very poor learning experiences over the past two decades, combined with the kinks of technological innovation? Or is it because learning has typically been designed as a one-size-fits-all solution, despite the fact that humans are not clones?
Quill is a brilliant VR drawing and animation app originally born within the now shuttered Oculus Story Studio.
