Kluge Interactive, the studio behind hit VR rhythm game Synth Riders (2019), announced its upcoming VR fighting game, FINAL FURY , will be featured at Steam Next Fest on October 14th, which of course means a playable demo. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been five years since Meta initially told the world it was working on building a set of AR glasses. Finally, after months of speculation and rumors , we officially have a hands-on view of what these new specs (codenamed Meta Orion) will do for Meta’s roadmap. Shiftall opened preorders for a new PC VR headset, after failing to ship the previous two MeganeX headsets it announced. Samsung and Google announced in early 2023 that, along with Qualcomm, they’d be releasing an “XR platform” based on Android , which could also see the release of a high-end mixed reality headset.
