Metal: Hellsinger VR , a port of the unique flatscreen rhythm shooter, is getting a VR version, bringing its frenetic action and metal-heavy soundtrack to all major VR headsets. Funcom today announced that Metal: Hellsinger VR will launch on Quest 2, Quest Pro, and Quest 3 on September 26th, while the PSVR 2 and PC VR version will launch a few days later on October 3rd.

BoboVR just announced a Quest 3 charging dock that's cheaper than Meta's official offering and includes extra features for its other products. Earlier this month, AMD launched the first two desktop CPUs using their latest Zen 5 microarchitecture: the Ryzen 7 9700X and the Ryzen 5 9600X. As part of the new Ryzen 9000 family, it gave us their latest Zen 5 cores to the desktop market, as AMD actually launched Zen 5 through their mobile platform last month, the Ryzen AI 300 series (which we reviewed).

IO Interactive and UK-based studio XR Games announced back in June that a new version of stealth-action game Hitman 3 was coming to Meta Quest 3. Now the studios have shown off a deeper look at gameplay. Revealed during the VR Games Showcase today, Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded promises to be “[r]ebuilt from the ground up for VR,” coming exclusively to Quest 3 this summer.

Multiple official-looking renders join the plethora of Pico 4S leaks we've seen over the past year. The images, showing the headset and an official carrying case accessory from multiple angles, originate from reliable tech leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (alias OnLeaks), and were published by Android Headlines. The latest update to Quest headsets brings seamless multitasking support as a new experimental setting. We tested the new feature on Quest 3 and Quest Pro headsets with the public test release v69 installed. Each headset was able to fully immerse us in an interactive VR app while the headset simultaneously displayed an active 2D window of any content we wanted.

Ghosts of Tabor studio Combat Waffle today showed off a closer look at Silent North, the studio’s next VR shooter published in partnership with Beyond Frames Entertainment. Silent North takes multiplayer action to the Swiss Alps, where players will bundle up and hunker down to survive as long as they can in a world overrun by zombies, Combat Waffle says. “Players can team up or go it solo while scavenging for gear and defending against a never-ending supply of hungry corpses.”
