Walmart, Coca Cola and Mercedes Benz are using Post Mobile AR to give customers a more interactive in-store experience. Dallas-based spatial experience company Spacee has come up with a technology that can deliver an AR experience that doesn’t require a phones, tablet, glasses or any other type wearable to operate. By transforming any 2D or 3D surface into an interactive touchscreen, the company provides an interactive playground that’s as fun as it is convenient.

SpicyTails , the studio behind the popular VR visual novel experience Project LUX (2018) , today announced a new project dubbed Spice & Wolf VR. As first reported by Japanese VR publication MoguraVR , the project is based on the manga and anime series Spice and Wolf. SpicyTails, an indie studio which involves original series author Isuna Hasekura, says their newest VR project will also include the anime’s original Japanese voice actors.

If you aren't convinced that mobile augmented reality apps need occlusion (or you don't know what the word even means), you really need to watch the latest video from AR cloud startup 6D.ai. The 6D.ai video is titled "What is Occlusion in AR, and Why Does it Matter?" For the uninitiated, occlusion is when objects are blocked by other objects. In the context of AR, occlusion occurs when physical object block the user's view of virtual objects.

Multiverse Entertainment, the studio behind VR sci-fi shooter Seeking Dawn (2018) , recently announced their 10+ hour title is due for a “huge content” update, which is said to arrive sometime before the game makes its way to PSVR. The team initially released plans for the update via a Steam forum post , which mention things such as bug fixes and adjustments to gameplay mechanics that should make the game more fun.

Hello everyone. As you know, I’m currently in China, doing a trip to discover VR here. I’ve said goodbye to the beautiful Qingdao and now I’m in the modern Shanghai. Shanghai is like the Chinese New York, so I thought to find more VR and better VR. Well, regarding public attractions (arcades, etc…) I’ve not seen a huge difference.

Magic Leap is soon to launch its first AR headset, the Magic Leap One. We don’t know exactly when or how much, but following the company’s confirmation that the headset is due to launch this Summer, the product has hit the FCC for certification. While we already saw the Magic Leap controller pop up at the FCC last month , the ‘Lightware’ headset and ‘Lightpack’ compute module have now followed suit.
