NHS Trust Receives Funding for New VR Centre

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded funding by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), some of which will be used to setup a Virtual Reality Centre and Hub. According to the NHS trust, the funding will accommodate “world-leading” expertise in VR and immersive therapies to research mental health within a new research delivery hub at Bethlem Royal Hospital in Kent.
