3D objects had washed out colors , a bit like when you see AR objects through HoloLens 1 and Magic Leap One … they appeared a bit semi-transparent. I think it has a great potential in the educational sector. The 3D emulation was not that perfect , so I felt some sickness while using it. Me trying a zSpace system.

Matsuda himself subsequently began working in AR following the film's release, leading design teams at both Leap Motion (now Ultraleap) and Microsoft. It's notable that this vision of augmented reality layers is also very similar to one shared by the earlier days of Magic Leap, before the company laid off many of its workers.

Most people know Xu due to his dispute with American virtual reality company Magic Leap. In June 2019, Magic Leap accused Xu of stealing AR glasses technology when he was an engineer working at the firm.
