Facebook looks to up the Oculus ante by investing in eye-tracking technology. There’s been a host of exciting announcements in the past week alone, but one of the most notable bits of information was just released yesterday: Oculus has acquired eye-tracking technology developer, The Eye Tribe.
With its eye-tracking solution already on the market, Tobii could be a big player in VR going forward. This money will help the company keep up with the rate at which eye-tracking is expected to advance in the coming years.
